They want to access a full range of contemporary opportunities, rather than the limited choices traditionally available. They want to access mainstream education, training, work, activities and NHS services. They want to choose their personal images and lifestyles and where they live. They want to exercise their rights and feel heard, valued and appreciated as individuals.

‘I was Janice and Neil’s first client and have been with Passmore Care Services for a number of years. I was only invited to stay for the weekend, but I didn’t want to leave. When I lived on my own I found it hard to manage and didn’t look after myself well. Since coming to live with Passmore Care Services they have helped me to sort out my debts, I have learned to care for myself, cook meals and keep my house clean and tidy. I have also been to college and learned how to use a computer. I now have my own computer at home. I look and feel like a different woman and am proud that I can be a mum and nanny to my family’.
