‘I would like to write thanking you and your staff for all the care and understanding you show to our sister. If ever I have had cause to contact you or a member of your staff regarding an issue, you have always dealt with the matter immediately and discreetly, respecting our role in her life.

Debbie has been in supported living now for many years with many ups and downs in the level of care received. Thanks to a very understanding Care Manager, Debbie was introduced to you both and the rest is history, her life changed completely from that moment.

I will never forget our first meeting with you, we knew instantly that Debbie had at last found a place to call home. Your quiet approach and complete understanding of people with learning disabilities was for us truly wonderful. The longer Debbie is with you, the more this is shown. Her level of care is tailor made for her needs, as with all your clients. This enables her to have a full and independent life.

Roasting a meal, household chores, trips to the bank, staff are always on hand. When required for such things as shopping trips and doctor appointments, her keyworker is available, these outings usually take in a coffee stop or lunch break! Having a keyworker is marvellous because any little upset or problem is dealt with immediately. Seeing Debbie now, a well adjusted happy lady with a diary full of activities such as swimming, ten pin bowling, karaoke and of course disco dancing, is for us, truly a blessing. She is of course looking forward to her trip to see Cliff Richard, no doubt she will enjoy it as much as her weekend in London when she saw Mamma Mia and visited Jamie Oliver’s restaurant.


It is the little things in life that we all take for granted that you see get attention. The hair appointments and all other little personal things that need dealing with from time to time, these things are what make such a difference to her quality of life.

I will never forget my son’s wedding, Janice, you took time out yourself to get her ready, doing her nails and makeup. As she walked into church that day with the rest of her family, the tears rolled down my face she looked so beautiful. How she looked that day summed up the difference in the care you provide. It’s quite simple really, it's your compassion and for that, we as her family are so grateful’.
